She feels no need to, with her tongue, tear down other women who she views as a threat to her. The cattiness disappears because she doesn’t feel the need to prove that she is better than anybody else. She is not threatened by other people’s beauty or talents because she has cultivated her soul and not just her external beauty.

a song comes bumpin through the speakers….. “You a bad b*tch…” is the main line you hear throughout the chorus. Shortly after comes the list of things that makes a woman a “bad b*tch”: 1. the way she shakes her a**2. very experienced in the bedroom3. expensive clothes4. hair and nails done5. own house, own car6. loud, independent & most likely belligerent 7. the size of her boobs & behind8. she can hold a lot of alcohol9. she can party like no other10. all the men want to have sex with her…..and she lets them THIS right here is whats being blasted into the hearts and minds of millions upon millions of young women. THIS right here is infiltrating the minds of so many little girls as young as five. Yes, five. They hear this, they are surrounded by this, this is all they know, they BELIEVE this, they are buying into this, they are BECOMING…..THIS! What is this? Is this what a real woman is? No….this is what the world wants you to believe. Reject these lies ladies, and be that example of a true virtuous woman that can and will change this world. Live above these standards that are so blatantly set for you. You are of immeasurable worth, do not devalue yourself by listening to, supporting or becoming these images in the media. I love you & you’re so worth it. Live above it.

A woman who fears the Lord will not run away from God to satisfy her longings and relieve her anxieties. She will wait for the Lord. She will hope in God. She will stay close to the heart of God and trust in his promises. The prospect of departing into the way of sin will be too fearful to pursue; and the benefits of abiding in the shadow of the Almighty too glorious to forsake.
